She/Her & They/Them

Bio

As a registered psychotherapist, Kali has spent the last 17+ years providing a safe space for people to truly feel heard, valued and supported exactly as they are. She understands the importance of treating each person as a unique individual and works collaboratively with her clients to build customized care plans that fit with their goals, their life and where they are at. Offering both holistic psychotherapy and traditional talk therapy, Kali provides wraparound support to help individuals feel safer with their emotions, their thoughts, their body, and within the world itself. She is warm, compassionate, non-judgemental and committed to an anti-oppression and trauma-informed approach in all that she does.

Kali loves seeing her clients move from struggling and living in survival mode to thriving in life. She is especially passionate about hearing the giddy stories from her clients about how they’ve used the strategies they’ve learned in therapy in their daily life and how empowered they feel to be able to move through their anxiety, pain or negative thoughts on their own. Kali also enjoys building strong therapeutic connections with her clients. She believes that healing is about more than just processing our pain--that it can also include joy, laughter, and genuine human connection.

Kali specializes in holistic psychotherapy—working with the mind, body, and spirit to promote mental wellness. This approach recognizes that our stress and traumas affect all of who we are and focuses on the whole person. Kali combines talk therapy with evidence-based nervous system regulation strategies, somatic (body) practices, and energy psychology techniques such as clinical emotional freedom technique (EFT tapping) to fully support the healing process. Kali also provides psychoeducation to better understand the nervous system and she teaches her clients short, science-based tools to help them to move through anxiety, reduce stress and pain and settle their nervous systems in their daily life.

In her talk therapy practice, Kali intuitively and collaboratively blends a wide range of modalities depending on individual needs. Talk therapy can be helpful for those who are seeking support for processing their emotions and traumas, seeking clarity regarding life transitions, or gaining a better understanding of themselves and their relationships.
